Ipswich Community Repair and Replacement Fund - Carmalk Consulting

The Ipswich Community Repair and Replacement Fund aims to provide opportunities for eligible community and sporting organisations to revitalise their existing community facilities, whilst also stimulating the local economy through engaging local suppliers and contractors.

Successful applicants are encouraged to start projects at the earliest possible opportunity, and within six (6) months of funds dispersal.

Who can apply?
Not-for-profit community organisations that:

  • are based in the Ipswich local government area and/ or can demonstrate that the proposed project will substantially benefit residents of the Ipswich local government area
  • have no overdue debts with council and have satisfactorily accounted to council for the expenditure of any previous council funding
  • give permission for council to publish the name of the recipient and the funding amount in accordance with council’s requirements under the Local Government Act 2009 and the Local Government Regulation 2012
  • have not received other funding or support from council for the same project
  • have appropriate insurance and adhere to sound workplace health and safety practices
  • financially sound and capable of managing public funds
  • have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • have a risk management plan in place (as required).

Funding

Eligible organisations may apply for up to $7,500 (GST exclusive) for up to 100% of the project costs.

Eligible Projects

Projects that may be supported under this grant include:

  • facility maintenance projects
  • facility renewal projects
  • upgrades to existing community facilities.

Projects which utilise local contractors and/or suppliers within the Ipswich local government area will be given higher priority.
